Users with access to view and download results, such as Project Administrators, Clinicians, and Results Access users, have the option to subscribe to email notifications to alert them of when a result has been returned.
The user has the option to receive notifications in the following ways:
- As soon as results are available OR only TNP/Fail results as soon as they are available

In a daily digest format
Daily digest emails will be sent once daily, around 5am EST, if results are available.
To configure this functionality, navigate to your user profile in the UI. Toggle on Enable Email Notifications and select your notification preference. Select Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Real Time Results (All)
For those who have chosen to receive result notifications as soon as they become available, the email will contain the following information: Sample ID, Sample Barcode, Test Name, Result and Result Status, including a link to the result in the ordering application. An example email is below:
Real Time Results (TNP/Fails)
For those who have chosen to receive TNP/Fail notifications as soon as they become available, the email will contain the following information: Sample ID, Barcode, Test Name, Result, Result Code, Result Status, and Result Code descriptions, including a link to the result in the ordering application. An example email is below:
Daily Digest
For those who have chosen to receive result notifications in a daily digest format, the email will contain information on order and sample status, including results, the occurred in the previous day.
For result digest, the email will contain the following information: Project Name, Test Name, total results available, and a breakdown of Fail(s) and TNP(s).
For order and sample status events, the email will contain a count for Orders Submitted, Samples Received, Samples Processing, and Samples Sent for Interpretation in a separate table. Both samples inclulde hyperlinks that will redirect the user to the ordering application to view the sample(s) included in the count.
